You haven’t given up on your child.
You just need someone in your corner.

Specialized support for parents of adult children battling addiction, mental illness, or a life that hasn't taken shape. From a psychologist who has spent 29 years helping families find their way back to each other. Based in Franklin, TN, licensed across 40 states through PSYPACT. In person and online."

You've tried everything.

Nothing has stuck.

Your adult child is struggling… with addiction, a mental health crisis, or a life that never quite launched. You've searched "how to stop enabling" at 2 a.m. You've replayed old conversations until they stop making sense. You've tried boundaries. Ultimatums. Stepping back. Stepping back in.

People who haven't lived this can't follow you here. And you're tired of pretending you're fine.

"If I help, I might be enabling. If I step back, I might be abandoning them."

There's no clean answer… So you stay stuck. Managing the crisis. Holding the family together. Quietly falling apart.

What you actually want

  • "I want to sleep through the night."
  • "I want to stop carrying decisions that were never mine to make."
  • "I want a relationship with my child that isn't built on crisis."
  • "I want my life back."

You've said it to yourself A HUNDRED TIMES…

You don't have to love them less. You need to know where your responsibility ends and theirs begins… So you can finally put it down.

That's exactly the work Dr. Cindy Mancini was built for.

Most therapists treat your child.

Dr. Cindy treats you.

Here's what makes this different from anything else in this space:

You get your own therapist. Your child gets theirs.

Dr. Cindy works with you. Her colleague works with your adult child, separately, in their own space, with their own confidentiality. Then the two therapists meet, compare notes, and build one strategy for the whole family.

Both sides heard.
Both sides represented.
One path forward.

YOU YOUR CHILD ONE STRATEGY
Two separate therapists. One shared path forward.

What working with Dr. Cindy actually looks like

Clarity

You separate your story from your child's. The guilt that was never yours — you finally put down.

Unique

Support when it counts

Short, direct coaching when a crisis hits — not just a standing weekly hour after the moment has passed.

Your life, returned

Your sleep. Your marriage. Your sense of who you are outside of this. On your timeline — not theirs.

A path back to each other

When your child is ready, Dr. Cindy helps build the bridge back. Not a lecture — a way back to each other.

She's not working from a textbook.

She's worked with families like yours for nearly three decades.

Almost 30 years. One steady belief.

Dr. Cindy's path to this work started in the Peace Corps, living outside her own culture and becoming fascinated by how differently people carry the same pain.

That curiosity drove her through a doctorate in clinical psychology, two of the country's most respected training programs, and nearly three decades of practice.

She has trained therapists across the country, founded the first team of its kind in Nashville, and is still completing new training today.

She didn't just study this work.
She has spent her entire career deepening it.
